[The video is completely accidental and the feed starts with a view of what looks like an alley, large bins, crates, cardboard boxes and whatnot. In the middle of it, stands Iruka, his back to the unassuming journal, hand stretched out to one side and fingers poised to yank out a few feathers.
Which iruka does.

And like a hen who's had a few feathers plucked, Iruka sort of just starts to thwack his head with his fist a few times, before biting down on it, an attempt to keep himself silent from the unexpected sting because well, clearly doing anything more like say, yanking the wing off would be stupid.

Iruka then just sort of tries to stick the feathers back in place but then they end up just drifting down to the ground. There is a sigh before the video freezes for a moment when Iruka sort of accidentally steps on the journal, frame freezing with the view Iruka's sweatpants clad ass.

When the video restarts roughly almost a minute later, the face that comes to view is one that scowling in concentration, breath misting from the cold topped with hair damp and standing in all kinds of direction. Iruka looks frazzled, possibly distressed and the flush on his cheeks deepens with each ticking second and the more he is exposed to the cold.

Iruka is also muttering to himself. Apparently, waking up with wings isn't his cup of tea.]

Little ingrates. Ball-less, fucking slimy, greaseball of a halfwit scumbag.

[The video freezes again when Iruka rotates it and taps on the lens before it cuts off completely.]

[ Well, that's not something you see every day. Iruka, however, is a rather familiar face (and somewhat welcome, if only because Kakashi doesn't have too many peers closer to his age around these parts).

The plucking of his wings though -- that can't possibly be comfortable. ]

You know, you probably shouldn't yank your own feathers out, Iruka-sensei. Your wings are directly connected to your health and lifespan.

[ Deadpanned. ]

[....A creative use of insults, there. Fayt raises an eyebrow, though it's unseen with the voice option he's chosen.] ..You really don't want to go ripping those out. And you especially don't want to go damaging those wings. Trust me.

[How is this possibly possible? Probable? It's almost incredible! Iruka doesn't reply immediately, possibly because he doesn't really feel all that good. And he thinks it's the cold. Being exposed to this kind of weather is bound to have a backlash, given his lack of proper clothing.]

K-Kakashi-san? Wait. But you...

[Nevermind. Iruka doesn't finish whatever he wants to say because he sort of just stumble-plop back on the ground from genuine surprise, because he can see it, too. Kakashi's wings.

That means, whoever did this, got to Kakashi, too.

If they got to Kakashi, that means, possibly, they got the other Jounins, too and probably even, Naruto or Hokage-sama, or --

So Iruka just stares. A little dazed as it starts to just piece together in his mind.

It makes him a little dizzy, the thought.

[A VOICE?! A BOOK TELEPHONE?! Iruka is most suspicious! Iruka tries his bed to sound harmless whilst wanting to strangle something at the same time.]

Would you please elaborate?

[A very, very hoarse, but slightly deadpan voice.]

The wings. If you remove too many of the feathers, you'll make yourself sick. If you remove the wings, you'll die. Quickly and painfully.

Getting just one torn off won't kill you, but it'll hurt like hell.

[He'd know, he was currently in the clinic recovering from one such wound.]

[She didn't even mean to look at the journals, but now that she has she's not about to let someone kill themselves without meaning to! ... Granted, she doesn't know that that's what will happen if the wings are messed around with too much, but still!]

[Anko smiles at the camera, almost all teeth.]

Please don't tell me you're going to kill yourself. At least wait till I can get there.

[ There's a slight pause as Kakashi considers the pallor of Iruka's skin and the fact that he more or less stumbled back and fell. He's not sure if this has something to do with the feathers Iruka had pulled out of his wing. ]

Where are you right now?

[ It's bitterly cold outside, and between having ripped feathers out of his wing and being in that state of undress, Iruka probably could use a little help right about now. ]

B-BUT LEE-KUN, THEY GOT YOU TOO! YOU HAVE TO SAVE YOURSELF.

[This is said in a whisper. They are intense words, though.]

[There is a child. Who they got too, whoever they are. Even a child. That aside, though, he doesn't really understand what is happening so he responds in kind.]

But I didn't do anything!

[Because hey, as far as Iruka is concerned, he is just sitting here, staring at this weird strange book-journal-radio of a technology and there is a child. He wonders, at the back of his mind, if she is okay and woke up alone, too.]

[Anko, too?! They got her too!

Now he is really worried. As he should be.]

If I sit on my ass, I'll die?

I don't know. The alley behind uhmm 'a shot in the dark'?

[Iruka is clearly confused because last he checked, no such place existed. Not in Konoha and certainly not in Turtle Island. And the place seems like it belongs to a fairly normal looking city? Town? Of sorts? Iruka rubs the back of his head and shakes his head a bit, to clear it from the nausea and the confusion.]

Does that sound familiar?

[There is a sound like Iruka had wanted to say something but then shuts his mouth. Then there is a pause.]

And you know this... how...?

[Video] This is another one of those cases where I should be sorry but I'm just laughing too hard

[Though it doesn't seem like he was doing it anymore... She huffs, crossing her arms over her chest as she tries to calm herself a bit.]

I suppose you could not have known if you were doing so... But those wings are incredibly delicate. Removing them can kill you, and I would not like to think of just what removing feathers would do for your health if severing the wings ends your life.

[ Kakashi dips his head in a nod. ]

I know where you are.

[ And then he gets up, and starts to move to gather a few articles of clothing and a blanket. ]

[ Hmmmm. Well, it seems like this guy's already gotten his share of warnings about the wings. Usopp manages (barely) to tamp down his initial fit of squawking and desperate arm-waving before he responds to the post himself. Yes, he can totally do this. He's got this under control.

He-- okay, he is actually still nervous about the feather-tearing-out thing, and is generally doing a bad job of trying to cover it up with friendly cheer. But he's still definitely got this. Brave man of the sea. Handler of disasters. Aw yeah. ]

W- well! Welcome to Luceti, I guess! The first day's pretty confusing for most of us, but the people are usually really great at answering questions, so you'll probably be fine! [ He regrets that 'probably' immediately. OH WELL. ]

[If Iruka really wanted to be a skeptic, he could always turn on the video feed, but the guide worked most of the time.]

[Iruka decides against whatever protest that has been bubbling up his throat. As it is, he is pretty useless right now.]

[So he waits.]

[ It takes about fifteen minutes for Kakashi to gather up clothes and a blanket and get to Iruka's location. He moves quickly through rooftops to get to the alley behind the coffee shop, dropping into the alley quietly and lightly behind Iruka -- but not so quietly that Iruka would be surprised.

There's a quiet thump when his feet hit the floor. ]

Yo.

[ A quiet greeting, from behind Iruka. ]
